Beyoncé went out with a bang for her final Formation concert at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Friday.
The singer definitely gave the sold-out crowd what they wanted, and then some, when she closed out her 49-date Formation World Tour with new outfits, a first-ever performance of “6 Inch,” never-before-seen interludes and surprise guests.
Opening act DJ Khaled had all the keys to success with help from famous friends Jadakiss, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Remy Ma, DMX, DJ Mustard, August Alsina, and Fetty Wap.
Queen Bey kicked off the night with “Formation” rising up to the stage in a new yellow pantsuit and signature wide brim black hat. “I’m so happy to spend our last show in New York!” she told the audience.
The set list also included “All Night,” “Diva,” “Love on Top,” “Crazy in Love,” and“Naughty Girl.” Though they were knockout performances, the best of the night were undoubtedly the special cameos.
Serena Williams twerked her way onto the stage during Beyoncé’s chart-topping single “Sorry” and just when the BeyHive didn’t think it could get better, Jay Z came out for a “Drunk in Love” duet. “Give it up for my man,” she proudly gushed before planting a kiss on her husband.
And last but not least, Kendrick Lamar graced the Formation stage for a powerful performance of “Freedom.”
“Until next tour!” said Beyoncé for her final sign-off. Fans can be rest assured that the 20-time Grammy winner will be performing again very soon. In fact, Beyoncé is slated to headline the TIDAL X:1015 concert at Barclays C at october 15.,watch video
